the thing about peter parker is that he’s a charcater meant to help lift people at the bottom up. he’s poor, he’s a loser, he’s jewish, he gets bullied, his parents and uncle are dead, etc etc. the fact that he’s dealt with so much shit and still has faith in humanity and strives to help people is what makes him spiderman. that brings up my problem with mcu spiderman like. he hardly gets bullied, he’s not particularly poor, they don’t bring up the fact that he’s jewish (granted, neither do the comics), he’s just a little socially awkward, uncle ben isn’t brought up at ALL, and everything that makes spiderman…. spiderman, are either watered down significantly or not there at all. it’s ANNOYING

AND now in the mcu any traits that are significant literally… aren’t his. what’s up with that
